From an era genteel and elegant comes the revival of the Crown Mansion at Qualicum Beach.

Built as a private home in 1912 and rich in tradition and history, the Crown Mansion once entertained celebrities and royalty such as Bing Crosby, John Wayne and the King of Siam. From this graceful history emerges a grand colonial Revival Estate and a wonderful place to call home. Five uniquely different fireplaces were located throughout the mansion adding warmth and character to an already magnificent home.

Qualicum Beach´s Heritage Forest

Adjacent to Crown Mansion the all-embracing branches of Qualicum Heritage Forest (an ancient old growth forest) offers a natural protective canopy to the meandering walkways. Filtered sunlight dapples the moss, ferns and woodland flowers and makes the dew drops sparkle. This majestic Heritage Forest is predominately Coastal Douglas Fir with a significant stand over 300 years old.
